Dr. Samir Hamdan

Dr Samir Hamdan is a native of the Westbank. He graduated from West Jefferson High School, and University of New Orleans with Bachelors in Biological Sciences and a minor in Chemistry and Psychology. Dr Hamdan went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in New Orleans at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. Dr Hamdan works with patient of all ages and especially with fear/anxiety. His mission is to give each patient the smile they deserve, and to care for his patients like family and listen to their needs in a caring and considerate manner.

Dr Hamdan believes in giving back to the community as he says “you never lose by giving.” Dr Hamdan has volunteered as a dentist by participating in Mission of Mercy, Give Kids a Smile, which all provide free dental tot he less fortunate. He believes in always expanding his dental education by staying current with new technology in the Dentistry.

He enjoys spending time with his family, friends, traveling. Dr Hamdan always makes an effort to better himself spiritually, mentally, and physically everyday. His favorite quote is “love what you do and you will never work a day in your life.”
