Welcome to our dental family! Lapalco Family Dental is a full service practice that offers dental implants, one day crowns, root canals, extractions, beautiful dentures, and more.
We have been serving Marrero, Louisiana and surrounding communities for 32 years, providing cutting edge dentistry and quality patient care. Our team believes that a successful practice is the result of a strong commitment to excellence and to our relationships with our patients. We feel honored that many patients over the years show their confidence in our practice by recommending us to family, friends, and colleagues.
One of the best rewards of our job is when patients tell us that they used to be afraid of going to the dentist but now they are not because our team has made them so comfortable. Let us know how we can make your dental visits stress-free! Call us today at 504-264-6461 or make an appointment using our online form. We look forward to meeting your dental care needs!
P.A. is one of our talented dental hygienists. She brings a passion for patient education, communication, and continued health to our practice, and her desire to provide quality, caring dentistry shines through in every patient she sees. Working with Dr. Landry, she says, has helped her to constantly grow and learn to make her patient care the best it can be.
Originally from New Orleans, Phuong is a huge fan of Korean drama shows, and she watches them whenever she has the chance. She also loves working out at the gym and shopping at the mall.
Shannon has a family history of working in the dental industry – her mother worked in dentistry for over 20 years! It was only natural that Shannon became a part of the dental world, having helped out around the office when she was young, even developing her first X-ray at the age of 14!
Shannon lives in Metairie, LA, with her husband and seven year old. In her free time, she also works at a salon – Shannon never slows down!
I’m his office manager. I’ve been here six years at the first of this coming year. It’s a very personable practice; I enjoy working here with him. He’s a funny kind of guy. He’s personable with us, he’s personable with the patients, he’s got a good reputation. He’s just a good guy.
He reaches out to each patient; he likes to know what they do for a living, he likes to talk to them about that. He’s very educated of course, so he can talk to anybody about anything. Passing an operatory and listening to him talk to patients about themselves and not him all the time is a little different than some other doctors.
And all of us, because we are here more than we are at home, it’s kind of like a family. I think patients feel that as well so they become a part of our family.
Gina packs a serious punch of experience for our office. She has been working in dental offices for more than 20 years as a dental assistant and then as an office manager. She has been a part of our office since 2008. Not only has she run several dental offices and worked in several consultant companies, but she has also expanded her education about dentistry through continuing education and seminars; she even holds certification as an expanded duties dental assistant. Gina loves her job and really values our patients because of the difference we can make in their lives. Gina understands that our patients are a part of our dental family, and their trust should not be treated carelessly.
In her free time, Gina enjoys spending time with her family. They enjoy watching movies, going on vacation, being outdoors, or simply talking together.
Keyonna is here to make sure your next procedure is relaxing and comfortable. She has been working as a dental assistant for Dr. Landry since the summer of 2015, but she has been in the dental industry since 2011. Keyonna enjoys interacting with our patients and seeing the many different personalities who walk through our door. She especially enjoys working with our team and knowing that she plays a part in helping our patients feel great about their smiles. Keyonna is certified in dental assistance, radiology, CPR, and phlebotomy.
When she’s not busy helping our patients, you can find Keyonna spending time with her 7-year-old son and the rest of their family. She loves spending time outside, taking road trips with her friends, and just enjoying life!
Brandie joined our team as the doctor coordinator in 2015, but she worked with Dr. Landry previously. She has been a member of the dental field since 2002. Her expertise in Medicaid and joy with her work makes Brandie someone you’ll be glad to see in our office. She genuinely enjoys coming to work, seeing our patients, and working with the rest of the staff.
When she is away from the office, Brandie enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and son (who is preparing to leave for college). She also loves to spoil her niece, who is like the little girl she always wanted.
Heather joined the Lapalco Family Dental team in May 2016, but she has been working as a dental assistant since 1997, when she graduated from dental assisting school in San Luis Obispo, California. In addition to her certification, Heather has continued learning practice and technique in dental implants and tissue grafting and currently is taking classes for phlebotomy. Heather really enjoys seeing your smile when you have a great dental experience. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and couldn’t imagine doing anything else. Her favorite days involve doing dental implants and oral surgeries with Dr. Landry and the rest of the staff.
Heather is new to New Orleans, so when she is away from our office, she enjoys exploring the city and meeting new people!
Stephanie has been a part of our Lapalco Family Dental family since early 2016, but she has been working as a dental assistant since 1994. Though native to Louisiana, Stephanie moved to Wisconsin after high school and attending dental assisting school while there. She returned to the South in 2005 because, let’s face it, there’s no place like home! Stephanie attended LSU in 2010 to earn her EDDA (expanded duties dental assistant) certification. She is also certified in phlebotomy and CPR. Stephanie’s goal each and every day is to give her patients the ultimate care that they deserve.
During her time away from the office, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family. She loves to cook, and she gains a lot of inspiration by visiting the many excellent restaurants in our city. Finally, Stephanie loves being out on the water, whether that means she is in a boat or on the beach; she loves relaxing and soaking it all in!
